Suttons Creek Continues Growth of Expert Team
As the pharmaceutical and medical device industries innovate, the need for drug delivery system experts grows…and so Suttons Creek continues to expand its talent pool of combination product specialists. We are happy to announce that Konrad Walzer is joining the company as our newest Technical Director and Kenny Lin, who has been working with us as a part-time consultant, is now officially on the team as a full-time Principal Project Manager.
Konrad Walzer reports directly to Senior Vice President Rob Schulz, along with the other Technical Directors that share the responsibility of managing our consultant team and key client projects. He comes to Suttons Creek with a BS, MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, and over 30 years of engineering and medical device experience. Over the last 20 years Konrad has held Director level engineering management roles at multiple industry-leading pharmaceutical companies. He built an extensive background in drug delivery, ranging from disposables to syringe pumps and infusion systems, most recently advising on a cell/gene therapy closed loop bedside system intended for oncology, autoimmune and rare disease applications and leading QA/RA system implementation and functions. “Konrad brings the right expertise at the right time to Suttons Creek,” says Schulz. “His background in product development and extensive expertise in infusion systems adds additional breadth to our leadership team.”
Kenny Lin reports to Mickey Burg, Associate Director of Program Management, joining her growing team of project managers. He will continue to be responsible for project task management of the programs he had been working on as an external support consultant along with a roster of new client programs. Kenny holds an M.S. in Emerging Infectious Diseases from Uniformed Services University and a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of California San Diego. He joins Suttons Creek with over 10 years of experience in the regulated medical device space and a robust background in assay development, design controls, manufacturing and technology transfer, biosafety, GLP, cGMP, and FDA submission support. As the head of multiple program management teams, he has led the successful completion of software, medical device, diagnostic assays, instrument, and companion diagnostic projects. “He brings a desire to generate, implement, and improve the efficiency and execution of the combination product programs we support,” says Burg, “and we are happy to have him on our team.”
The entire Suttons Creek family is proud to welcome both Konrad and Kenny, as they join the combination product industry’s top minds in helping Pharma and Biotech bring life-changing solutions to patients. Hiring these experts is part of our commitment to be a reliable source of knowledge, resources and advocacy for clients, and we look forward to the contributions they will both make to our company and our clients’ successes.
