Mickey Burg joins the SCI Program Management team

Suttons Creek is excited to announce the addition of Mickey Burg to our team as Associate Director, Program Management, reporting to our COO and President, Rob Schulz. She joins our ranks with 15 years of medical device experience, working with design controls across multiple platforms and leading large-scale and complex design and development programs, including in vitro diagnostics, software as a medical device, instruments, and companion diagnostics. She led the development of the program management office at Thermo Fisher’s Transplant Diagnostics Division, managing a team of 10 under her direct responsibility and contributing significantly to many process improvement, operations, and product development advancement initiatives. Mickey has an MS in Applied Molecular Biology and a BS in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics, both from the University of Wisconsin–Parkside.

Rob Schulz has advised, “Mickey will be reporting directly to me, helping to build our next-generation client project management model, bridge and improve the processes between sales and the technical teams, lead both internal and client initiatives/projects, and be our system owner for resourcing and project management.” Within these responsibilities, she will provide enterprise-level oversight of the SCI active project portfolio and deliver direct strategic support for SCI project resourcing and execution to support the company’s continued growth in 2024 and beyond.

Mickey says she is “bringing a love of problem-solving and a talent for organization and resource management that allows me to maximize the effectiveness of project execution.” With her start in Research and Development and her experience in highly regulated environments, she functions at the intersection of creative solutions and risk mitigation…the sweet spot for success in a job like hers at Suttons Creek.

We look forward to the advanced support she will provide to both our internal teams and to our clients.
