Applying cGMPs for Combination Products to Ophthalmic Devices

Suttons Creek is excited to announce its newest team member, Craig Voellmicke, who has taken on the position of Director of Sales. With more than 19 years of medical device and Combination Product experience and an MBA from NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business, Craig brings both hands-on technical experience and a strong business development acumen to his new role.

Craig began his career as an engineer, designing and developing drug delivery devices at Becton Dickinson, where he gained 11 years of exposure to clinical practice and the commercialization of medical devices. After earning his MBA, his focus shifted to business development strategies and execution for prefilled syringes and medical devices, when he quickly became Terumo Medical’s top performer on their US B2B Pharma team and played key roles for the company’s Japan and EU headquarters, launching and growing ocular and intramuscular drug delivery portfolios. Craig continued to find success building Pharma drug packaging sales for oral solid doses and transdermal drug delivery as Aptar CSP Technologies’ Vice President of Business Development and leading commercial teams in Gore’s PharmBIO division.

Craig is a leader in combination product business development, on the job and as a guest lecturer at NYU’s Biomedical Entrepreneurship Program, speaking on commercialization and business development. He believes close collaboration and teamwork with clients is a key to driving project success, and we at Suttons Creek believe that his strong business leadership and broad, in-depth industry knowledge will drive success for both our company and our clients.
